ABRASIVE WHEELS TRAINING COURSE AIMS:

• The aim of the abrasive wheels training course is to teach the participants the correct skills knowledge and attitude to be able to store and mount abrasive wheels safely on abrasive wheel machines

COURSE TIMES & LOCATIONS:

• Our Abrasive Wheels courses are based in Treo Nua, Harpurs Lane, Portlaoise from 8.00pm – 9.30pm on alternate Tuesday evenings so you dont have to take a day off work

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE:

• Anyone who handles, stores or mounts Abrasive Wheels in the course of their work

WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE THIS COURSE:

• In order to comply with The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations, 2007 to 2016

WHY SHOULD YOU NOT TAKE AN ONLINE COURSE:

• Because online Abrasive Wheels courses do not meet the requirements in Irish legislation because you have to show competency to the instructor in the practical tasks which cannot be done in an online course. This means legally if you take an online course you are not trained and you have wasted your money.

COURSE OUTCOME:

• Successful delegates will receive a Safety Training Abrasive Wheels certificate which is valid for 3 years

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• All of our courses are delivered using the English language so delegates must also have a good command of English both written and spoken so the course can be fully understood. You are welcome to bring an interpreter with you to class if you choose but we would ask to be informed of this when booking
